As part of a month-long residency at Bunnell Street Arts Center in Homer Alaska, I constructed a temporary NOT PSYCHIC booth and delivered 22 by-appointment ‘readings’ over three weeks. Each appointment was up to an hour in length and featured conversation and responsive drawing, preceded with the admission that I possess no psychic or extra-sensory ability whatsoever.  NOT PSYCHIC is intended to unearth new strategies for social connection and the circumvention of social anxiety.
